PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
G.O.A.’L.’s 말하기 (MalHagi) program is NOT intended to be a Korean class. 말하기 (MalHagi) is designed to provide you with a native Korean speaker in order to practice, study with, receive feedback, and have clarification on different points of the Korean language, with a focus on speaking!
Language Partners are G.O.A.’L. volunteers and most are not certified teachers. G.O.A.’L. will do their best to match you with a Language Partner that is appropriate for your level and intended learning targets.
You are responsible for providing your own study materials and schedule of topics to study. The Language Partner is NOT responsible for creating a syllabus for you. They are there to assist you in your Korean learning journey and be a resource for language questions, practice, and further review!
Please note that applying does not guarantee you a Language Partner. Upon reviewal of application, availability, and Korean level, we will do our best to match you with someone, but a volunteer may also not be available at this time.
Program Period: 10 weeks
Meeting Time: Once a week, 1.5 hours via Zoom/Google Meet + orientation & evaluation
Cost: Current G.O.A.'L. Member: FREE, Non-members: $50
