Data Use Agreements of the Processed Results of ADNI
The processed results of ADNI (skull stripping, tissue segmentation and parcellation) were generated by the volume-based analysis pipeline (integrated in iBEAT V2.0 Cloud/Docker, http://www.ibeat.cloud), which was designed in the Developing Brain Computing Lab(https://liwang.web.unc.edu) led by Dr. Li Wang (li_wang@med.unc.edu).
I request access to the processed results of ADNI for academic research purposes, and I agree to the following terms:
1. I confirm that I have obtained access to the original ADNI data and have the authorized right from ADNI to use the ADNI MRI data (http://adni.loni.usc.edu).
2. I fully agree to abide by the terms of Data Use Agreement from ADNI (http://adni.loni.usc.edu/wp-content/uploads/how_to_apply/ADNI_Data_Use_Agreement.pdf).
3. I agree to use the processed results of ADNI only for purposes that are permitted by these terms and any applicable law, regulation or generally accepted practices or guidelines in the relevant jurisdictions.
4. To access the processed results of ADNI, I may be required to provide information about myself as part of the registration process. I certify that any registration information I give will be accurate, correct and up to date.
5. I agree that I will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the processed results of ADNI for any purpose.
6. I agree that I will undertake to use the processed results of ADNI on my own and entire liability.
7. I agree that in no case shall Dr. Li Wang be declared liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages suffered by me as a result of the use of the processed results of ADNI, as well as for any difficulty experienced during its use or for it being impossible to use.
8. I am completely responsible for the results that I may obtain while using the processed results of ADNI.
9. I agree that the name of my organization appears on the user list of iBEAT V2.0 Cloud.
10. I agree that any publication based on the processed results of ADNI should inform Dr. Li Wang and make an acknowledgement that “The structural MR images were processed (skull stripping, tissue segmentation and parcellation) by the volume-based analysis pipeline in iBEAT V2.0 (http://www.ibeat.cloud)”.
11. I agree that any publication based on the processed results of ADNI should cite the following paper describing the processing techniques:
· Li Wang, et al., “iBEAT V2.0: A Multi-site Applicable, Deep Learning-based Pipeline for Infant Cerebral Cortical Surface Reconstruction”, in Nature Protocols, vol. 18, no. 5, pp. 1488–1509, 2023.
· Yue Sun, et al., “Self-Supervised Learning with Application for Infant Cerebellum Segmentation and Analysis”, in Nature Communications, vol. 14, 4717, 2023.
12. The processed results are permitted for developing algorithms for academic purposes only; commercial use is not allowed. Should I wish to further collaborate and develop any algorithm based on the processed results, including but not limited to algorithms for skull stripping, tissue segmentation, and parcellation, I will reach out to Dr. Li Wang at (li_wang@med.unc.edu).
13. I will make my best efforts to notify Dr. Li Wang (li_wang@med.unc.edu) of any error or any other defect of the processed results which comes to my notice during the use.
