Ts & Cs and information for pitch holders

Insurance documents

We need to see a copy of your valid public liability insurance at least one week before the show day.
Exhibitors are solely responsible for the safe custody of their property. The Happy Staffie Rescue, its officers and staff disclaim any responsibility and all liability in respect of loss (including damage, theft, fire, accident, etc). Happy Staffie Rescue strongly recommends that all Trade Exhibitors arrange adequate insurance to cover any loss. Exhibitors must have public liability insurance cover.

Risk Assessment

Public safety is of paramount importance. You must complete your risk assessment questions on this application form.

Pitch Details

Signage/Items must not cause obstruction to walkways or other traders’ stands.
Stewards have the authority to remove any such obstruction and have the stand rearranged at the expense of the trader.
SUB-LETTING is PROHIBITED.

Arrival on site and show timings

On show days the site is open for trade set up from 7am.
You will only be allowed on site if you are able to show your pass. Please ensure all your staff have one before arrival.
You MUST be set up by 9.30am.
Show is open to the public from 10.00am to 4pm.

Vehicle Movement and Parking

All vehicles that do not form part of your stall will need to be parked in the trader free parking area by 9.30am. Vehicle movement is then PROHIBITTED between 9.30am and 4pm unless authorised.

Environmental Issues

ALL RUBBISH MUST be REMOVED from the showground by traders.
Generators and open flame appliances are NOT PERMITTED without official written permission from organiser.
You must provide your own weather protection, tables and chairs.

H&S

In an emergency please dial 999 and give the post code DY14 9DA while also informing a show team member.
Pitch holders and their staff must adhere to Covid-19 guidelines that are in place on show day.

Traders

We accept no responsibility for conflict of interest between traders but will do our best to maximise space between similar stands.
It is the responsibility of Traders to comply with Health and Safety and Trading Standards legislation.
