  • NCTCOG’s Regional Ecosystem Framework and Interactive Viewer Survey

  • NCTCOG’s Regional Ecosystem Framework (REF) identifies areas of relative ecological importance in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. The REF includes 10 data layers at the subwatershed scale. The layers are intended to be used as an initial screening tool for local governments and transportation agencies planning infrastructure projects.

  • NCTCOG’s REF Interactive Viewer provides more than 40 layers of raw environmental data in addition to the 10 REF layers. The Interactive Viewer is a one-stop shop for environmental data from local, state, and federal agencies. All layers can be downloaded for use with ArcGIS.

  • The survey will ask two sets of questions. The first set of questions is about the Regional Ecosystem Framework. The second set of questions is about the Interactive Viewer.

The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete.

  • First, NCTCOG needs to know a little about you.
