    The Roxbury Unity Parade Weekend is scheduled for Friday, July 17th - Sunday, July 19th.

    Friday, July 17th - Legacy Brunch @ Hibernian Hall
    The Roxbury Unity Parade Legacy Brunch is a community gathering that brings together residents, leaders, organizations, elders, supporters, and changemakers to celebrate the rich history, culture, resilience, and contributions of Roxbury. The brunch serves as the official kickoff to Roxbury Unity Parade Weekend and creates space for connection, reflection, community recognition, and unity while honoring those who continue to uplift the neighborhood. Guests enjoy food, networking, community awards, entertainment, and inspiring conversations centered on empowerment, culture, and community pride.

    Sunday, July 19th - Roxbury Unity Parade @ Madison High School
    Founded by Toy Burton, the first Roxbury Unity Parade stepped off in 2018 as a celebration of Black culture, our excellence, and our contributions to the City of Boston. Since then, the parade has grown into a powerful community tradition that brings together residents, organizations, businesses, performers, schools, and supporters from across the city for a joyful celebration of Roxbury pride, unity, and culture. 

    The Roxbury Unity Parade travels through the heart of Roxbury, beginning at Madison Park Technocal Vocational High School on Malcolm X Blvd, continuing through Roxbury and Nubian Square, before returning to the starting area.

    Once you register, make sure to arrive at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School (75 Malcolm X Blvd, Roxbury, MA 02119) by 11:30am. Parade will step off at 1:00pm.


    Photo Release: Roxbury Unity Parade participants grants the Roxbury Unity Parade permission to: record participation and appearance on videotape, audiotape, film, photograph or any other medium; use participant's name, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with such recordings; exhibit or distribute such recordings in whole or in part without restrictions or limitation for any legal purpose including without limitation educational or promotional purposes, which the Roxbury Unity Parade and those acting pursuant to its authority deem appropriate; and copyright such recordings in its own name or to publish, to market and to assign without consideration, compenstation or report to Roxbury Unity Parade.
