SW Awards - League Player of the Year

Application Form - USTA League Player of the Year

League players are the backbone of the USTA and our league players are the largest collective group of tennis players in the United States. This award is given to a league player from USTA Southwest who plays frequently, consistently and fairly in USTA Leagues.
Criteria for this award is as follows:
- Current year USTA League Participant
- Emphasis on frequency of local or regional play, meaning multiple USTA League Teams in a calendar year (the more the better)
- Has never had a grievance filed against them
- Shows good sportsmanship at each league level, and at each match played be it Local, Region Championships or Nationals
- Experience at section or national championships is not required

Notes
1) A PLAYER WITH ANY ACTIVE GRIEVANCES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED
(in addition, numerous past grievances or a track record of past grievances will not be considered)
2) Past success in league program CAN be a factor, but the point of the award is to recognize frequency of play, as well as fair play in leagues held in the USTA Southwest area
