Friday June 23 - Working the “Flag” and Handling Live Cattle.
This is a “PLAYDAY” to get your horse used to working the "Flag" and then we will be moving outside to work with cattle. There is no Clinician but other participants with experience in these areas will be there to guide us as we play. Individual and teamwork at your own pace. Sorry, this clinic available to those 18 years and older. 12 participants invited to register.

Learning the Rules and Working the Obstacles
Dee has been competing in Working Equitation for 6 yrs. She brings with her a strong background in obstacle challenges, having been an avid trail competitor for over 20 yrs, as well as winning the Battle of the Breeds extreme trail challenge three times. Dee has been involved with WECan for 5 yrs and continues to grow and promote the sport wherever she goes
Sunday June 25 - Intro and Basic Dressage
Clinicians: We are excited to have Gail Jorstad and Krystal Rithaler come and share their knowledge in equine riding and showing . Gail is a longtime horse trainer (Jorstad PerFormance Horses), clinician and coach from our area. She is presently also presently working on becoming a Judge. Krystal has a wide range of knowledge in the Dressage area. She is very well read, has scribed at many, many Dressage Horse Shows, has taken the Judges clinics and is also a rider herself.
We are only accepting 8 participants for this clinic to keep our groups small. In this clinic you will learn the basic arena pattern and how to maneuver the movements required in a test. Enter, Halt, Circles, Corners, Gaits required, where to pick up extra marks and where most riders leave marks in the arena. One hour of in class, group lessons and semi private lesson. If time allows we will ride a test and have it judged.
Each clinic Cost is $125 for the day.
Saskatchewan Morgan Youth Club Members are free to enter at no cost, Working Equitation Trail and Obstacles and Intro & Basic Dressage.
If you purchase an Adult Saskatchewan Morgan Club Membership you will get a $25 per clinic discount.
If you purchase a Youth Saskatchewan Morgan Horse Club membership for $15 you will be subsidized for either or both of the clinics you choose to register for.
All registrations and fees must be received by Friday May 26, 2023.
All Particpants must have a current SHF membership and must send a copy with your registration.
Coffee/lunch will be available for $10 each day.
Steak supper Saturday evening for $25 per person.
