Disclaimer
1. I acknowledge that there are risks involved in all activities involving horses. I fully realise the dangers of participating, and fully assume the risks associated with my participation and my wellbeing and safety. I accept all risks of personal injury, death or property damage to myself or caused to others. The instructor reserves the right to dismiss participants in order to protect the safety and well-being of other participants without refund.
2. I am capable of looking after my horses. I accept that the instructor reserves the right to check on my horse, and not allow participation if my horse is deemed unfit for any reason. I understand that my horse/s must be at an acceptable level of handing and training and I can participate safely on this course without posing a danger to myself or others. I will follow the instructions and accept the decisions made by the organisers and/or instructor.
3. Safety of Property I acknowledge that I have sole responsibility for my horse, equipment and other possessions during the period of the event. I further agree at all times to take reasonable care with regard to the facilities where the course is being held.
4. Liability By participating in the event, I expressly accept all risks personally and release the organisers, their servants and agents, owners and occupiers of the land, sponsors and all other persons involved in the event from any liability, claims, losses, damages or expenses caused by the event including, but not limited to, any personal injury or death, any emotional or nervous disorder, any medical condition or suffering, any property loss or damage.
5. Release and Indemnity of Owners and Occupiers of the Land This event is made possible by kind permission of the owners and occupiers of farmland and/or suitable area, allowing us to use their land. I accept they have given their permission on condition that I release and indemnify them, and I hereby release and indemnify them from any and all liability, claims, losses, and damages and expenses whatsoever including any liability under the Health and Safety in Employment Act.
6. Medical Treatment I consent to receive medical treatment in case of injury, illness or suffering during the event and agree to indemnify the organisers, their servants and agents from any liability or claims in respect of that treatment.
