  • HOST agrees that it will provide the general requirements of FACILITIES outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( Press Box, Scoreboards, Public Address System, Hospitality Room, Parking, Athletic Training Facilities, Inclement Weather / Lightning Detection)

  • Host agrees to the following hotel requirements for Men's Lacrosse : 4 room blocks with 25 double-double rooms | Complimentary breakfast | Complimentary wi-fi | Complimentary parking | Rate under $119 per night is preferred | Hotel rate should be at or near GSA standards for the area*

  • HOST agrees the following facility requirements for Men's Lacrosse:
      
    - ADA Compliant
    - No tobacco use at NJCAA event
    - Public Address and Sound System
    - Athletic Training Facilities
    - Hospitality room for coaches, officials and VIPs
    - Appropriate lighting for outdoor sports
    - Press Box / Table area (dedicated covered area for scoreboard operator, statistician, media, etc.)
    - Concessions and Souvenir sales area
    - Ticket Office / Gate Entry
    - Well managed field turf is preferred that meets NCAA regulations for artificial turf.
    - Well-manicured natural grass will also be considered if it can withstand three consecutive games in two days.
    - Playing surface must have all official field markings for men’s lacrosse as described in NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Rulebook.
    - Game clock / scoreboard must be visible from the field of play.
    - Minimum seating capacity of 1,000
    - Two (2) locker rooms complete with showers for teams
    - Minimum of two (2) uniformed security guards throughout the tournament
    - Separate and secured locker room for officials
    - Dedicated hard wire internet and access to power for NJCAA network broadcasting

    - Dedicated covered and secured from elements facility for NJCAA Network broadcasting
    - Designated seating area for teams/competitors when not playing
    - Designated warm up area for teams

  • GAME OFFICIALS
  • HOST agrees it is responsible for securing the service of all necessary officials, judges, etc., to satisfactorily conduct the tournament as determined by the NJCAA Committee on Lacrosse for NJCAA approval.*
  • HOST agrees it is responsible for having a Supervisor of Officials on its tournament staff to coordinate the assigning of officials throughout the tournament. At least thirty (30) days prior to the start of the tournament, HOST is to provide the NJCAA with the name and credentials of all officials contracted as well as the name and contact information of the person serving as the Supervisor of Officials for the tournament for NJCAA approval.*

  • All NJCAA Championship Hosts must adhere and follow all policies of the NJCAA Logo Use & Style Guide. As well as what is outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements

  • HOST agrees that it will adhere and follow all policies regarding SPONSORS / ADVERTISING as outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( NJCAA Sponsors, Local Sponsors / Advertising / Inventory)*

  • HOST agrees that it will adhere and follow all policies regarding MARKETING ITEMS as outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( Championship Program, Banners / PA Announcements)*
  • STATISTICS / RESULTS

  •  HOST agrees that it is responsible for providing knowledgeable staff to record official statistics for the entire championship. Statistics are to be recorded for each game/event of the championship and provided to the NCAA immediately following the conclusion of each contest/round of competition. The name(s) and contact information for the individual(s) keeping statistics for the event must be provided to the NJCAA at least thirty days prior to the start of the event. 

    HOST of the Men's Lacrosse Championship is required to record game statistics via PrestoSports Stat Entry, live StatCrew entry via PrestoSports, or another live scoring method approved by the NJCAA National Office. The XML files for each game are to be sent to the NJCAA following the conclusion of each game. PrestoSports Stat Entry is available to all tournament hosts of these sports at no cost.   • HOST agrees to the recording and reporting of statistics/results as outlined above? *
  • PHOTOGRAPHY
  • HOST agrees to provide an official photographer to take photographs during the entirety of the event . The name and contact information for the photographer must be provided to the NJCAA at least thirty days to the start of the event. For head-to-head sports, photographers will be required to provide 3-5 images to the National Office immediately following each contest.  All remaining pictures should be provided immediately after the conclusion of each day of competition. For non-head-to-head sports, photographers will be required to provide all photos to the National Office immediately after the conclusion of each day of competition.  Photographers will be required to provide all photographs taken at the event to the NJCAA free of charge for use on the NJCAA website, publications and promotional materials. **
  • BROADCAST POLICIES
  • Should a Host choose to provide streaming production assistance or to cover production and/or cost of production as part of its bid, it first must get approval from the NJCAA and agree to production standards established by the NJCAA. Host will also be requested to assist with acquiring local commentators/talent for the streaming broadcasts. Please list any streaming production assistance or costs that would be covered by you as the host as part of your bid. Examples include providing full production, providing camera operators, having access to college or local media department/group, providing payment to cover production costs, etc. **
