HOST agrees that it will provide the general requirements of FACILITIES outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements ( Press Box, Scoreboards, Public Address System, Hospitality Room, Parking, Athletic Training Facilities, Inclement Weather / Lightning Detection)
HOST agrees the following facility requirements for Division I Outdoor Track & Field: - ADA Compliant - No tobacco use at NJCAA event - Public Address and Sound System - Athletic Training Facilities - Hospitality room for coaches, officials and VIPs - Appropriate lighting for outdoor sports - Press Box / Table area (dedicated covered area for scoreboard operator, statistician, media, etc.) - Concessions and Souvenir sales area - Ticket Office / Gate Entry - Track must have 8 (eight) or 9 (nine) lanes (42 inches wide in each lane)- Flat track with all-weather surface- High jump area- Horizontal runway and pit- Pole vault runway and pit- Throwing area with protective cage- Javelin runway and landing area- Steeple chase water barriers and appropriate amount of hurdles of all sizes- It is preferred that all competition areas be at the same facility/venue- Timing clock / scoreboard must be visible for spectators and participants- Must have fully automated timing system - Accutrack - (1 mandatory, 2 preferred) and appropriate backup equipment. - Minimum seating capacity of 1,000 - Two (2) locker rooms complete with showers and lockers with locking capabilities for participants - Minimum of two (2) uniformed security guards throughout the tournament - Separate and secured locker room for officials - Designated seating area for teams/competitors when not playing - Designated warm up area for teams
All NJCAA Championship Hosts must adhere and follow all policies of the NJCAA Logo Use & Style Guide. As well as what is outlined in the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements.
HOST agrees that it is responsible for providing knowledgeable staff to record official statistics for the entire championship. Statistics are to be recorded for each game/event of the championship and distributed/reported to the NJCAA immediately following the conclusion of each contest/round of competition. HOST of the DI Outdoor Track & Field Championships is required to use a digital meet manager (preferably Hy-Tek Meet Manager) for all events. Daily and FINAL results should be distributed to the NJCAA.
Potential HOST agrees and acknowledges that they have read and reviewed the NJCAA Championship Host Manual & Requirements as well as the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Champonships Host Requirements and will comply follow all guidelines and requirements outlined in these documents.
