The Middle East will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - GCC countries (to include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Palestine Territories and Turkey
Central and South Asia will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan
North Africa will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia and Mauritania
Caucasus Region will be defined by the following countries for the purpose of the award - Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the Russian Federation.
About this category: This award will commend a leader who has led an IT transformation, digital transformation or business change programme driven by technology in the last 12 months.
Judges will assess the planning, execution and results of the transformation programme, looking particularly at the technologies and innovation involved, best practice, alignment to business goals, impact on the business, ROI achieved, and how culture shifts were managed.
Judges will look for a leader who has demonstrated the highest degree of tech excellence, innovation and leadership in the last year, and shone a light on the great things technology can achieve.
Candidates should have not only have demonstrated outstanding business- and/or technology-focused achievements, but also acted as a positive role model and actively sought to bring more diversity to the technology industry.
