Bringing the Body of Christ to the body of Christ
  • Bringing the Body of Christ to the body of Christ is the heart of the Ministry to the Homebound.

For those who are not able to attend the Divine Liturgy and are homebound the church can come to them carrying the Body of Christ, to be fed by the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar, the Eucharist.

The ordained are sent forth every week to bring the Eucharist to the sick and homebound of the Parish Family. Visitation can be weekly or bi-weekly depending on the health of the homebound individual.

Out of respect to every individual's privacy, we do not contact the family or individual who is homebound for a pastoral visit, we simply ask that the family of the individual contacts the church.

If you have a relative or friend who is homebound and would like to be visited by the ordained to serve for Holy Communion, please call Church directly at 513-961-0120 or complete the form below.

  • The ordained minister will conduct an abbreviated service, beginning with prayer, receiving the Body of Christ, time of silence, and prayer of thanksgiving. Since the service is not a social visit, for planning purposes the visit would be around 20 minutes.

Please have a candle lit in the space where the service is celebrated, it goes without saying to have the television off.

The Eucharist may be received on the hand or in the mouth directly.

Thank you for being together in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health.
