Filling roles and scheduling volunteers varies based on the role, school, and level of need. Volunteers will be contacted about opportunities and will be able to sign-up to help or apply as necessary for that role.

Executive Board and Member-at-Large Positions

Elections are held each spring, near the end of the school year. All members during the current school year are eligible to vote. Regardless of open board positions anyone can be nominated for any position on the board. Generally speaking, board members are expected to serve for 2 years.

Member-at-Large positions are appointed by the current board members. The positions are intended to be a stepping stone to becoming an elected board member. It is a great way to start to get involved with the HSA Executive Board.
