Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory illness that is spread person to person through respiratory droplets produced by an infected person. Limiting close face-to-face contact with others is the best way to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Social distancing, also called “physical distancing,” means keeping a safe space between yourself and other people who are not from your household. To practice social or physical distancing, stay at least 6 feet (about 2 arms’ length) from other people who are not from your household in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
As Boys & Girls Clubs of Garden Grove (BGCGG) returns to school campuses the health and safety of members, families and staff will remain the top priority. BGCGG will implement the following sign-out policy during the pandemic to address evolving concerns associated with COVID-19.
As always, members must be picked up by a parent, legal guardian or someone listed on the emergency contact list who is 18 years or older, with valid photo ID.
In order to maintain social distance and to limit the transfer of high touch items (pens, documents, clip boards, etc.) a parent signature will not be required on the daily attendance sheet at the time of pick-up.
Maintaining accurate records of member departure from the program is crucial to the safety of members and required of all ASES programs. BGCGG staff will record the accurate time of pick-up and the name of the adult picking up the member on the daily attendance sheet. Staff initials and signatures will be required to certify the accuracy of attendance records.
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have received, read, and understand the principles included in this policy.
