Both of these tints get 5⭐️ from me here is my review on both brands and any tips.

𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾

 

This brand is an amazing tint and I've used it for over a year now. I would highly recommend if your new to the brow industry to purchase the bronsun bible which is a guide that covers everything to do with this tint. Can be used on lashes and brows.

 This product is a gel consistency and it can be tricky to get used to if you haven't used a gel tint before. I would 1000% recommend the prep products as this will enhance your skin grab. If you don't use the prep products, I find it does not have that same WOW factor hybrid skin stain and not much of a skin grab, uneven coverage an can look grainy.

Once you have mixed the tint leave it to stand for a minute or 2 and then go on with the application as with lighter colours you almost can't see your application so if you do not apply accurate you will have to go back and correct. Apply thin and fine and cover all areas. With hybrid tints if applied incorrectly you will have a harsh border and no stain inside of it. This tint has a stain remover which is super handy to correct any errors or to soften the fronts for a more faded ombre effect.

 

The colour range is perfect the red chestnut and chestnut is a stunning mix on your red heads. As there is such a variety of colours you can custom blend your colours to match your client's hair I tend to go with the root colour to match on their head. Most of my clients like a natural looking brow so this range is perfect for them. It also covers well on areas where they may be missing hairs which is a good visual for them to see a mapped tinted shape perfect for them and they LOVE IT! Process time I usually leave the bulbs for up to 5 mins, up to arch 8mins and then the rest between 10-20 mins depending on the desired look usually client's like a subtle ombre effect.

 If a client has dry skin, it can make the skin stain look grainy and if a client's skin is oily, they will not have the full retention of the skin stain. If the tint is applied correctly, correct products your client can expect up to a 2-week skin stain but I usually say it lasts for a week and up to 6 weeks on hairs. Again, clients come to me usually every 4-6 weeks and the tint on hairs is still very visible.

I find mapping then using a paste really helps with seeing your working area and gives the client the opportunity to vision the shape inside the paste. The paste can also help with any overspill but do clean up the working area with a mini cotton stick.

An angled brush is best for application you want the brush to be thin at the tip or straight brush.

𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾

This tint is by fair the most insane skin stain I have EVER worked with. I love the consistency and a little goes a very long way which I think can be cost effective to you. Can be used on brows ONLY not lashes. 

 With this brand I only brow shampoo the client's prior and the skin stain is nothing like I have ever seen before. So do treat with caution on your first time play with colours on your arm and development times before going on to a client unless you will keep checking the processes.

I mix the tint and leave it to stand until it starts to almost turn a brow colour as the tint comes out a redish colour. I map as always and use paste this brand does a beautiful gold paste. On application I tend to just go for it I love how I don't have to be so mindful on how thin the layers need to be just place and pat clean up with a mini cotton stick and after a minute or 2 the tint has developed and you see instant results! I take the bulb of after 1-2 minutes up to arch after 5 and the rest after 8. I've never had to leave this on any more than 8 minutes. 

I do find that even the light brown can go very dark so with this brand I 100% recommend getting the colour adjuster as this will softer the results if your clients do not want a bold look and a remover so soften and give an ombre effect if needed. I wish they had a red colour for red heads and a stand alone black.
