It is with great excitement that we announce the 2024 annual Muslim Youth Debate Tournament, sponsored by the MAFIQ Foundation.
The event will be a hybrid national parliamentary-style debate tournament at the 2024 ICNA-MAS convention in Baltimore Convention Center, Maryland. It is open to all Middle (Grades 6-8) and High Schoolers (Graders 9-12) who can attend. All experience levels are welcome!
The preliminary rounds will be virtual along with semifinals and finals in-person rounds at the ICNA-MAS Convention.
Virtual four preliminary rounds will take place on Saturday May 18 (two topics will be announced by the third week of April and two rounds will be impromptu). In-person impromptu semi-finals and finals will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

The tournament is open to teams of 3 students from communities, schools, and masaajid nationally and globally. Preliminary rounds winners will be recognized and awarded irrespective of the semifinals and finals rounds. Only those who are attending ICNA convention will be considered for the semifinals and finals.
