Founded in 1976, the Museum of African American Art is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that educates vistors of all ages about the arts through the lens of African American culture. The museum operates primarily based on memberships, donations, corporate contributions, grants, and event rentals to other community organizations. Our exhibits and programs are always FREE to the public, so your membership really matters! Join MAAA today (or renew your membership) to support free access to the arts in our community.
