Motorcycling Victoria will complete an annual audit of the fees, charges and processes relating to Venue Licencing. The 2026 Venue Inspection for all tracks, and the fees can be seen below:

Inspection - Application Fee $800.00+GST for 1st track, $200+GST per additional track or discipline)
Covers the initial costs associated with processing the Application, organising the Track inspection and costs incurred for the repots to be written and submitted.
2. Track Licence Fee (per Track/Discipline) $300.00+ GST
An updated Venue Licence is issued once the Track Inspection is complete. You will be invoiced when the new
Venue Licence is issued.
3. Re-inspection Fee ($300 +GST plus travel)
Charged only if it is necessary for the Track Inspector to go back to the venue to reinspect.
In line with current Manual of Motorcycle Sport, Motorcycling Victoria as the State Controlling Body of Motorcycle Sport in Victoria, is responsible for the inspection and licencing of all Venues hosting Motorcycle sport events under Motorcycling Australia Permits.

All Motorcycling Victoria Venues must have the current Venue/Track Licences on display at the venue.

Track Operators are encouraged to refresh their knowledge of the Track Standards each year to ensure they understand the requirements and expectations of them as operators of a Motorcycling Australia Venue.

STEP 4. Provide Track Plan/Map (Please attach to application)To be eligible for a Venue Inspection you must supply current and accurate Plans for the overall Venue. (For all the requirements please see point “3.4 Plans” in the Track Standard )*

STEP 5. Supporting Documents It is the track operator’s responsibility to provide the appropriate documents and or information necessary for the track inspector to complete a report, this can include: • Emergency Management • Land Owner Permission Landowners Permission Form • GPS co-ordinates for the track. • Special considerations and/or restrictions Track Operators are encouraged to refresh their knowledge of Track Standards Doc each year to ensure they understand the requirements and expectations of them as operators of a Motorcycling Australia Venue. New applicants should complete the above track information where possible and submit with a copy of a plan drawn to scale showing details and locations of all significant surface features. Where the circuit is currently licenced, you must apply for approval to alter any of the above conditions or significant features of the track. Please state the nature of any proposed alterations and where these include changes to the track itself you must submit a copy of the track plan showing the proposed changes.*
