FOR RC-MLS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
There shall be a total of at least 10 elected Directors, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, and a Treasurer of the Service, except that not more than 2 Directors may be elected from among REALTORS other than Participants or from REALTOR-Associates who are affiliated with Participants and serve with the consent of the Participants as representatives of the Participants with who they are affiliated. An Affiliated subscriber with a Brokers license, who is appointed by their Participant Broker and has served for 3 years on the MLS Board, can be appointed to serve on the Executive Committee. No more than one such subrscirber can serve on the Executive Committee at the same time.
Directors must have served on a committee with consistent attendance having no more than 3 absences. In addition to the elected Directors, the Presidentofcurrent president of The River Counties Association of REALTORS or a person appointed by the President, and the Immediate Past President of the Service shall serve as Directors, ex-officio, with full voting privileges. There should not be any more than 1 Director from any one firm at the same time. In the event a Director leaves one firm and affiliates with another firm who has 1 Director on the Board, the transferringDirectorwillbe to his/her position if the other affiliated Director declines to resign his/her position as Director.
Additionally, applicants must be in good standing, with no convictions, no bankruptcies, and/or obligated to resign open professional standards cases within the last 3 years.
