The Greater Des Moines Partnership is excited to announce that the Out to Lunch event series is back in 2021! Out to Lunch is a series of mid-day summer events that pop-up in Downtown Des Moines (DSM). Each event is complete with tasty food and live music to provide a lunchtime break for residents and workers of Downtown DSM.
The 2021 Out to Lunch series will occur on Thursdays from July 1 to July 29. The event is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
We are looking for experienced food vendors to sell prepared food at each event. Interested vendors should complete the following information in order to be considered. Past Out to Lunch events have drawn around 1000 attendees. Dates, times and locations are outlined on the second page.
Food vendors are responsible for, and must provide, their own generator for all power needs, water source if needed and trash removal.
Please provide your own cash and change, as this service will not be provided.
Food vendors must be properly licensed and permitted in the city of Des Moines in order to participate.
Fees are $50 per week, as well as a $50 clean-up deposit. Vendors will be billed for the series upon acceptance. Checks must be written seperately.
Applications are due by end of day, Friday, June 11
Applications will be considered in the order they are received.
