    Degree Plan for Dual Credit Students

    As a dual credit student, you are required to file a degree plan with Lone Star College after completing 15 credit hours of coursework and then review your plan again at the 30 credit hour mark. 

    Texas Senate Bill 1324 requires students who earn 15 Semester Credit Hours (SCH) of dual credit to file a degree plan with the institution of higher education granting the dual credit. In addition, it requires students to undergo advising after 15 SCH have been completed. Failure to do so will result in a student's ineligibility to enroll in subsequent semesters.

    The selection of a degree plan below is not binding. Should a student wish to change their degree plan after the submission of this form, they may do so by contacting the LSC-Montgomery Dual Credit Office at MC-DualCredit@lonestar.edu.

    This form will help guide you to ensure you are taking courses that fall within a degree plan. Even if you decide to transfer to a 4-year university after you graduate high school, you must complete this degree plan with Lone Star College.

     

    Upon your submission of this form, the 15 hour/30 credit advising hold will be removed from your account.

    Best for students pursuing science, technology, engineering, or math fields
