Welcome to Royal K9. LLC and thank you for trusting me with the care of your fur baby!

Royal K9, LLC is a holistic, humanity over vanity salon that strives to make as stress free of a grooming environment as possible for your dog. I take the full, mental and physical, well being of your dog into consideration during the grooming process. I even became a certified dog trainer to better care for your dog and although my focus is grooming, I incorporate training into my grooming process to help your dog learn to enjoy grooming. Please know I do everything I
can to keep your dog safe and happy during the grooming process. In order to do so please be familiar with the following safety policies and information.

Some services that are normally included may not be performed if it is unsafe to do so for yourdog or for the groomer. Any matting will be removed in the safest way possible, which could result in necessary shaving for your dog’s comfort.

All dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccinations prior to their grooming appointments. Other core vaccinations are recommended for your dog's safety but only proof of rabies is required.

Please reschedule if your dog becomes sick or injured prior to their grooming appointment. Coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, unknown rash or hair loss could be contagious to other dogs and I ask that you have your dog examined and cleared for grooming prior to rescheduling. Sickness and injuries could be made worse by the grooming process and be uncomfortable for your dog.

Please reschedule if you find fleas on your dog prior to their grooming appointment. Fleas quickly infest homes and other pets, they are uncomfortable for pets and hard to get rid of.

I do not allow clients to stay with their dog(s) during the grooming process as this distracts dogs and makes for an unsafe grooming environment.

I am a one on one groomer so your dog(s) can enjoy a more relaxing environment. Your dog(s) are the only one(s) in the salon being worked on during your appointment time. To accommodate this I ask that you please drop your dog(s) off on time and pick up within 15 minutes of a completion call/text.

Please give 24 hours notice of appointment cancelations or rescheduling.

Royal K9 Liability Waiver

I, hereby waive and release Royal K9, its employees, owners and agents from all liability for injury, infection, allergic reactions, coat damage, burns, irritation or death which I or my pet may suffer as a result of the pet grooming process. Royal K9 reverses the right to refuse service or stop a service at any given time for any given reason.

Medical Problems: I understand pet grooming can expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. This can occur during or after grooming.
Tranquilization: Royal K9 will not tranquilize a pet for grooming nor will we accept a pet who exhibits signs of having been tranquilized without prior consent.

I understand there is an increased risk with senior and matted pets, as well as pets with medical conditions, and behavioral concerns. I understand shedding breeds and pets mixed with shedding breeds are at an increased risk of coat damage.

I have disclosed any and all known dangers associated with my pet, including behavioral issues that may impact the safety of the grooming staff as well as the safety of my pet at Royal K9.

For Emergencies: I hereby grant Royal K9 permission to perform CPR and first aid treatment to my pet in the event of an emergency and to obtain emergency veterinary treatment for my pet, at my expense, if Royal K9 is able to do so for my pet. I understand no guarantees are made on the outcomes of emergencies.

I, the undersigned, assume full responsibility for the pet(s) on my account whether or not I am the primary owner or have another person(s) listed on this account. This release applies to all grooming appointments past, present, and future and of all my pet(s) past, present and future. I have read this agreement, understand its terms and signed it freely
