    Candidate must complete this form NO LATER THAN APRIL 10 to be considered for this year's elections.  Answer all questions as completely as possible. Not all applications are approved for the slate.

  • Are you a member of a USBC certified league in California at the present time?*

  • QUALIFICATIONS: Please complete the following sections beginning with the most recent office working back.

  • Time to visit local associations for special functions? All directors may, at times, be requested to attend local association meetings,which may require some travel.*
  • Time to attend committee meetings? There will be at least two and possibly three committee meetings each year and some may require travel.*
  • Time to attend Board of Directors meetings when scheduled and 3 days to attend Board of Directors and Annual Meetings in June? Most Board of Director’s meeting will be held virtually, but at least one per year will require some travel to attend.*
  • Time to work weekends as a tournament official at the State Championships or at our ancillary events? All directors are required to work at least three weekends, which will require travel.*
  • If employed, will your work interfere with carrying out the duties listed above?*
  • Basic knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and email)?*
  • Do you know how to run brackets or other bowling software? If yes, please list software below.*
  • We need Tournament Directors. Do you have experience organizing and running bowling tournaments? This includes processing entries; verifying membership and averages; and on-site execution (check-in, processing walk-in entries, etc)*

    There will be no campaigning for votes when a candidate seeks election to the California USBC Board of Directors.  Any violation of the California USBC policy regarding campaigning for election may subject the nominee to disqualification as a candidate.
