• The Clarence Central School District (CCSD) will be contracting with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and hosting on-site to provide UPK services for the upcoming academic school year.

Eligible children are defined as those who live in the Clarence School District and whose fourth birthday will occur by 12/1/2026.  Students will be placed by the District and will attend five (5) days a week for 180 days per school year, at no additional cost to families. Transportation is not provided and daily attendance is expected. The UPK attendance calendar will parallel the Clarence Central School District instructional calendar starting in September.

A number generator will be used to choose children for the UPK Program. If your child is chosen for placement, you will receive a letter of acceptance which will include their placement and a District registration form. Children not initially placed will be kept on a waiting list.

Although we cannot guarantee your preference will be met, please indicate the preschool agencies in order of preference.  Any agency that provides wrap-around care offers child care services before and after the UPK session for a fee (contact individual location for more information).
