The City of Malden’s Summer Festivals 2021 is inviting youth, amateur, and professional individuals and groups to offer short performances, demonstrations or participatory activities (up to 45 minutes in length) on August 7 and 21 between the hours of 12 – 6, to take place on the (new) City Hall Plaza and various other locations in Malden Center. A modest stipend is available to eligible performers. NOTE1: Bands of any style (Rock, R&B, Punk, etc.) will be coordinated independently through Bob Logan of Sum Studios. Email 1sumstudios@gmail.com to express interest. Applications will be accepted as long as space allows. NOTE: All applications will be forwarded to a point person with the City who will book you and coordinate details of time, location, and other details by email.

Note: the City of Malden has a limited budget for performances but is willing to offer a stipend ($50-$300 depending on act and duration). Additional funds may be available.
