Tapology Summer Tap Intensive Registration Form

We are excited to launch our first hybrid summer tap intensive. This program is designed to train and provide an opportunity for dancers to audition and join the Tapology Youth Tap Ensemble. In-person training will take place at the Sylvester Broome Empowerment Village in Flint, MI. Space is limited however, all courses will be accessible virtually.

** A video will need to be submitted for our creative team so we can make sure each student is in the right level class. If for some reason we discover during the first day of the intensive that you should be in a different level, we will contact you directly.

Fees:

$100 All inclusive for each level(Tap, Afro-Caribbean, and Music Theory)
$75 Tapology Youth Tap Ensemble Members and Flint & Genesee students
$50 Absolute Beginner (Adult Only)
$50 Afro-Caribbean (Single Course)

Advanced Beginner applicants please submit a YouTube video link of yourself tap dancing 8 counts of 8 or 4 counts of 16 bars to a jazz standard. (For example; Sunny Side Of The Street, Take The A Train, etc.)

For Intermediate and Advance applicants, please submit a YouTube video link of yourself doing a time step with a break to a jazz standard (For example: Take The A Train, It Don't Mean A Thing, On A Clear Day, etc.) It can be traditional or your own time step followed by a 32 bar solo.
