What are some ways that you have served, in the past, that you have really enjoyed?
What are some types of service opportunities that you are excited to learn more about and/or try out?
Below are some Advent opportunities around our campus. Please choose any of these opportunities that interest you.
Administration (serve on boards or committees, assist in front office, help with administrative activities, etc.)
Adult Ministry (helping facilitate small groups: lead facilitator, care coordinator, service coord., etc.)
Care Ministry (prayer team, meal team, connection and correspondence team)
Advent Kids Ministry (check in, shepherding, serving in the nursery, teaching, administrative)
Guest services (greeting, ushering, next steps desk, parking team, etc.)
Music Ministry (sing or play instruments for the traditional or contemporary teams)
Advent Student Ministry (leading a small group, shepherding, service projects, etc.)
Tech Team (assisting the Sunday morning livestream team)

Backpack Blessings (providing food in backpacks for school children - weekly)
Harvest Hope Food Bank (pack boxes of food for local outreach)
Helping Hands (team who assists congregation and local community with small fix it-type jobs)
Interfaith Hospitality Network (transitional ministry for the homeless)
March Mission Madness (annual, one-day church-wide outreach to Greenville area)
Kairos Prison Ministry (ministry to the incarcerated in the Upstate area)
Triune Mercy Center (providing periodic meals for the homeless)
Below are some national and international outreach missions. Please choose any of these opportunities that interest you.
Angel Tree (providing Christmas gifts for children and families in upstate area)
ERT = Emergency Response Team (trained to assist with disaster relief and repair)
Mission Guatemala (Serving for a week with a team in Guatemala = Adult and youth trips)
Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan’s Purse (Christmas supplies for international children)
Salkehatchie (a week-long, summer, construction-type, youth service project)
