  • PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE SUBMITTING

    1. It is the sole responsibility of the event coordinator to know and abide by all licensing and permitting requirements as set forth by the state of Pennsylvania and the city of Scranton. Please contact City Hall with any questions. The Marketplace staff cannot assist you with this. 
    2. Tables, chairs, and set-up/breakdown are NOT included in event pricing.
    3. All events are to occur within regular center hours only. Any access to the center outside of regular hours requires prior approval and will be granted at our discretion. 
    4. One "table space" is defined as the footprint of one standard 6’ or 8’ x 30” banquet table. Prices do not include table rental or setup; all vendors agree to make those arrangements independently and to be present at drop-off and pickup times. Assistance with setup and breakdown can be provided for an additional fee but is not standard, requires prior approval, and will be granted at our discretion. 
    5. An event date will only be held once a deposit is received. 

     

    NON-RETAIL PROMOTIONS or SINGLE VENDOR 

    • Individual vendor/organization - $150 per day
      • Includes one table space, each additional table is $25 with a limited space of 6 tables total.
      • This option cannot be combined with multiple organizations.
      • Payment is due in full 3 business days prior to event. 

     

    NONPROFIT / COMMUNITY USE

    • Nonprofit groups with tax-exempt status will be charged a discounted rate of $75 per day.
      • Includes one table space, each additional table is $15 with a limited space of 6 tables total.
      • Payment is due in full 3 business days prior to event. 

     

    RETAIL VENDOR EVENT

    • Multi-vendor event - $350 per day
      • Includes up to 20 vendors spaces (or one table space per vendor), $10 per each additional vendor/space
      • A deposit of $200 is required to secure the date and the full balance is due 3 business days prior to event.
      • Discounts available for multiple and reoccurring events.
      • Some events may be subject to an additional security deposit.
