As an OSA member, you are invited to be part of the first exhibition of the OSA 150th anniversary celebration year. The theme for this exhibition and for the anniversary year is "Breath. Heart. Spirit." You may choose to use this theme and to interpret it into your own work.
This exhibition is the kick-off for our anniversary! We plan to present and launch the 150th Anniversary Book titled "Breath. Heart. Spirit." to recognize the theme for the anniversary year.
At the time of this call there is no plan in place for a formal opening because of Covid-19 protocols and measures. But if we are able to include a formal opening, we certainly will!
The Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant in Brantford, Ontario is housed in a beautiful historic property dating to 1914 surrounded by 15 acres of park land which backs onto the Grand River.
Dates of the exhibition: October 2, 2021- November 28, 2021 Submissions are due August 10, 2021.
There is a fee of $10.00 to help cover our platform fees charges. We are keeping our fees as low as possible for all anniversary member exhibitions.
Drop Off dates: September 21 from 9-1 or September 25 from 11- 4.
(The work will be installed on September 28, 2021.
Pick up dates: November 30 from 9-1 and December 4 from 11-4.
All OSA Members are invited to submit up to 2 pieces for this show. Any media will be accepted for curation. The work will be curated by the curator of the Glenhyrst's Curator and Head of Collections Matthew Ryan Smith.
All images must be of professional quality. All artwork images are to be submitted using Jot Form. While we cannot guarantee that your work will be in this exhibition, as many works as possible will be included. It is very possible that every person who applies will be included in this show. That is our goal.
An OSA catalogue of this show plus the 2021 Members Exhibition will be published, making a large and collectible OSA catalogue!
Submit your work in the following format: 300 dpi and 1650 pixels on the longest side. Because gallery space is limited artwork can be no larger than 40 inches wide. Submit one image for every two dimensional artwork and 2 images for every three dimensional artworks.

Presentation and Quality
All entries must be original works created by you, the artist. All work must be gallery ready and delivered Sept 21st or 25th.
Images you submit must be clear, accurate and not distorted or hidden by uneven or reflected light or surroundings.
If you are submitting video or electronic work, prepare a still image and a .mov format.
Submit using this format: last name_first name_title_ media_size_sale price. All sizes in inches with height first.
Work submitted to the OSA Glenhyrst Art Gallery Show may not be shown again in any other OSA 2022 Exhibition.
If you sell your work during the hanging of this exhibition, the commission for the Glenhyrst Art Gallery is 30%. The Gallery will handle all sales.
If your work is not for sale please mark it NFS.
Terms and Conditions
Each OSA member is expected to share on their own media platforms and email lists the details of this show and a link to the gallery website. A social media image will be provided for your use.
By submitting to this exhibition you agree to allow reproduction of your digital files for educational, publicity and archival purposes, unless you inform us otherwise in writing. You also give us permission to communicate with you by email about this and future OSA events.
