As an employee of Santaquin City, I acknowledge the following:
1. I have received a copy of the City’s Employee Policies & Procedures Handbook (“Handbook”). I understand that the Handbook contains important information about the City’s policies, work rules, and my benefits. I also understand that I have the responsibility to read and understand the information in the Handbook, and to ask my supervisor, Department Head, or the City’s Personnel Officer for clarification of any information I do not understand.
2. I understand that this Handbook is not a contract of employment or a guarantee of specific treatment in specific situations.
3. I understand that this Handbook supersedes all prior Handbooks, policies, guidelines, of the City on these topics, and that it is my responsibility to check with the City’s Personnel Officer in the future to be sure that I have current information regarding any particular subject.
4. I understand that the City, in its sole discretion, has the right to change, modify, add to, substitute or eliminate, interpret and apply, in its sole judgment, the policies, rules and benefits described in this Handbook. I understand that should the content be changed in any way, the City may require an additional signed acknowledgement from me to indicate that I am aware of the changes.
5. I acknowledge amendments to the Santaquin City Employee Handbook approved on May 17, 2022, by the Santaquin City Council and have received an amended copy of said Employee Handbook.
