SYNONYMOUS TERMS (Means the same thing here):
- H.S.A. (Hollow Structural Aluminum) = BOX TUBE = SQUARE TUBE
  - 95% of our H.S.A. is 'Round Corner' which means there is a slight radius on the outside of the profile instead of a hard 'Square Corner'. Occasionally, and by request, we can source 'Square Corner' H.S.A. (typically used for railings/gates, etc.)
- FLAT BAR = AL FLAT = FLAT STOCK
- CHANNEL = CHAN = C-CHANNEL
- PLATE = SHEET
- CHECKERPLATE = DIAMOND-TREAD = DIAMONDPLATE
- MILLPLATE = BARE ALUMINUM
Additional info regarding Tubing & Pipe measurements:
- Tubing is measured by 'OUTSIDE-DIMENSION x WALL THICKNESS'
  - SAMPLE: 2" O.D. X 0.125" TUBE (An inside dimension of 1.75")
- Pipe is measured by 'INSIDE-DIMENSION', and is then followed by the wall thickness in the form of SCH40, SCH80, or SCH120. Please note the Schedule 40/80/120 system is a mathematical ratio, and that SCH40/80/120 does not represent a specific number; rather, it is relative to the size of the pipe.
  - SAMPLE: 2" SCH80 PIPE (A wall thickness of 0.218" and an outside dimension of 2.375")
  - SAMPLE: 1" SCH80 PIPE (A wall thickness of 0.179" and an outside dimension of 1.315")
