Capstar: All boarders will receive Capstar at their check-in. Capstar is a chewable pill that kills adult fleas within 30 minutes and only lasts 24hrs. It is very safe, well tolerated, extremely effective and has NO drug interactions. It is not a preventative and is recommended to use in conjunction with a monthly preventative. ($13.50 or $15.50 depending on your pets weight)
**Medications and Supplements: All medications and supplements must be provided in their original veterinary-labeled containers with clear instructions for administration. They must be prescribed specifically for the pet receiving them. Items cannot be pre-sorted into day-of-the-week pill organizers or pre-mixed into food.**
Vaccine Requirements: In order to protect the health of your pet, this facility requires documentation showing that all pets are current on vaccinations. Pets that are so young that they have not completed their entire series of vaccinations may not yet be protected and, thus, owners accept any risks of infection. Vaccines are required as followed:
Dogs- Must be current on the DHPP and Rabies vaccine. They also must be current on the Canine Influzena vaccine, Bordetella/ Kennel Cough (every 6 months) vaccine, and have a negative stool sample within 1 year.
Cats- Must be current on the FVRCP and Rabies.
Statement of Kennel Policy
1. Pets must be picked up between the following hours
- 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays
- 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Fridays
- 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays
Pick-ups on Sunday are are between 9:00 am and 11:00 am or between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. as long as payment arrangements are made beforehand and drop-offs are not available on Sundays or holidays.
2. This facility cannot guarantee the health of any animal, but pledges to provide appropriate care to all boarders. I agree to hold this facility harmless for conditions that often are unavoidable in boarding environments, including, but not limited to, weight loss or gain, rough hair coat, kennel cough, upper respiratory infection, diarrhea, and fleas.
3. If pets are boarding in the same kennel we reserve the right to separate if problems arise.
