Tuition Assistance Recipient Responsibilities
Recipients of tuition assistance are required to complete a set number of assistance hours each month, based on the amount awarded. A parent or guardian may fulfill these hours on behalf of the student.
If awarded a scholarship, you will receive a link to NPD’s scholarship webpage. This page will list assistance hour opportunities, updated at the beginning of each month. It is the recipient’s responsibility to save the link and check the page monthly. All hours must be completed within the given month unless otherwise approved by the Director.
Please Note:
Assistance hours do not count toward other volunteer obligations, such as production or student company participation.
All families receiving assistance will automatically be enrolled in the 4-payment plan.
Participation in all NPD fundraisers is required. Recipients are encouraged to raise at least the value of their award over the course of the academic year.
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in the loss of your scholarship. Fulfillment of past responsibilities will be considered in future scholarship applications.
If extenuating circumstances prevent you from completing your hours or participating in fundraising, please email mackintosh@northernplainsdance.org to discuss possible alternatives.
