Application for Full Membership

$90 Application Fee payable at time of application
A full member must hold either:

a) A Diploma of Marine Surveying plus a minimum of 2 years current full-time experience (or pro-rata equivalent) as a marine surveyor within Australia or New Zealand

OR

b) Prior maritime qualifications plus 5 years current full-time experience (or pro-rata
equivalent) as a marine surveyor within Australia or New Zealand

OR

c) Is graned special exemption at the discretion of the board on required qualifications and/or experience or a non-traditional entry pathway.

Full membership fees are $440 per year. Where an application is approved after July 31 and before June 30 the following year the membership fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis.
