Welcome to the Foundation Phase Club!

For the foundation phase, our aim is to introduce soft interpersonal skills to young students through gamification, and personal enjoyment.

These clubs are for students in stages R-3, and will run throughout the year. With a new club every term. These clubs are:

Term 1-
Mini Mozarts
"Harmony in Every Note, Creativity in Every Stroke!"

Objective:

Cultivate early cultural skills through exposure to music, art, and drama. Dedicate time to enhance memory development, pattern recognition, and self-expression in students.

Term 2-
Little Legends
“Nurturing teamwork and leadership for a thriving journey ahead."

Objective:

Facilitate a gentle introduction to teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal competition. Guide students in navigating healthy lifestyle choices and promoting a balanced body-mind relationship.

Term 3-
Little Einsteins
“Curiosity Unleashed, Brilliance Ignited!"

Objective:

Foster students' practical skills through hands-on activities, encouraging experimentation, information analysis, drawing conclusions, and imparting valuable life lessons.

Term 4-
The Bookworms
"The Bookworms: Read, Think, Excel!”

Objective:

Cultivate academic soft skills, including proficient note-taking, effective thought processing, and fostering critical engagement with reading material.
You can be a member of two clubs at a time at Wingu. At Wingu Academy we have various clubs to cater to all interests.

Our yearly clubs

There are four yearly clubs to choose from. These clubs are held during the first three terms of the year and focus on skills that may take longer to develop. These clubs also focus on hosting events where students can demonstrate their newly acquired skills.

Let's build a stage where your voice shines, and success awaits at events like ATKV and Eisteddfod!

Our Termly Clubs

Every term, three new clubs will be introduced for students to select from. These clubs will emphasize internal events, providing students with opportunities to enhance their interpersonal skills while pursuing their interests and passions.

Term 1

Chef Club: Indulge your culinary curiosity with the Chef Club! From baking delights to crafting household essentials, we're your kitchen companions. Join us to master the art of cooking, ensure sustainability in your culinary adventures, and acquire essential lifestyle management skills.

Art Club: Embark on a colourful journey of self-expression with the Art Club! Whether it's digital art or visual masterpieces, we're here to nurture your creative spark. Join us for diverse artistic exploration, skill-building, and to become the future artists who shape our world.

E-sports Club: Level up with the E-sports Club! Sharpen your coordination, leadership, and critical thinking skills through exhilarating gaming challenges. Join us for a dynamic experience where you not only play games but also develop valuable life skills.

Term 2

Green Thumbs: Join the Green Thumbs and cultivate a greener future! Dive into sustainability and environmental awareness as we empower members to adopt eco-friendly practices. Collaborate with us and the WCF and SRC to make a positive impact on our environment.

Word Weavers: Ignite your imagination with Word Weavers! This club is your haven for storytelling and language mastery. Join us to explore various writing genres, polish your grammar, and unravel the art of crafting compelling narratives.

Olympics Club: Embark on a journey of sportsmanship and competition with the Olympics Club! Explore the history of the Games, discuss iconic moments, and train for our very own Wingulympics. Join us for the thrill of healthy competition and camaraderie.

Harmony Hub: Discover the symphony of your talents at Harmony Hub! Dive into the world of music, explore genres, instruments, and the rich history of musical artistry. Join us to cultivate left-brain development, enhance memory, and acquire musical skills.
