  • The Cottage Rental Agreement is for the property located at 322 Oxford Avenue, Crystal Beach, ON L0S 1B0

    Please read this document in its entirety. Please fill it out completely and sign where indicated. Please remit deposit as soon as possible after the form is completed. Please keep a record of this agreement.

  • BOOKING INFORMATION

    Reservations held via Email Money Transer (eTransfer) to: 322oxford@gmail.com

  • CHECK IN /CHECK OUT PROCEDURE

    1. Check-In:  Check in time is 4:00 p.m. on the day Renter’s scheduled reservation begins.  No Early check-ins without consent of the Owners
    2. Check-Out:  Check-Out time is 11:00 a.m. on the day Renter’s scheduled reservation ends.  Any delay in check-out, without prior consent of the Owners shall result in Renter’s being charged additional monies.
    3. The renter will not be refunded for a late arrival or early departure.
  • SECURITY / DAMAGE DEPOSIT

    Security Deposit:  A Security Deposit of $ 500.00 will be deposited with the Owners.  The deposit covers any damages to the rental property and its furnishing caused by the Renters and their guests as well as for any lost beach passes.  Owners may use all or part of the security deposit to repair any damage caused by the Renters and their guests.  Should the damage amount exceed the amount of the deposit, the Renters remain liable for the balance.

    The Renters shall assume responsibility for any willful or negligent damages to the cottage and its premises.  The Owner recommends that the Renters have homeowners or tenant’s insurance and make sure that their coverage includes liability insurance.

  • CLEANING

    Rental Property should be left in the same condition as originally found. Cleaning supplies are provided and available for the Renters to assist with cleanup before check-out. Renters are responsible to:

    • Remove all contents and garbage brought with you.
    • Take recycled garbage containers to the curb on Sunday evening and bring back in on Monday after pick up.
    • Ensure all of your recycled garbage is sorted in the proper containers. 
    • Put all furniture, small appliances, toys and games, and other cottage contents back in the found position for all rooms.
    • Clean and put away all dishes (no dishes left in the sink).

    If the cottage is not left in this condition, this may result in additional cleaning charge, and will be deducted from the deposit.

    All garbage must be removed from the property at check-out. (Not left in garbage bin). All recyclables must be properly sorted as marked on the applicable bins.

  • REPORTING OF MAINTENACE / REPAIRS

    We as the owners try to properly maintain the rental property.  The Renter agrees to immediately notify the owner of any maintenance problem, so that the situation can be remedied as soon as possible. 

  • USE AND ENJOYMENT OF COTTAGE AND PROPERTY

     

    Use of Premises: Renters will comply with all local laws, ordinances, and community rules regarding the use of the premises. Renters will comply with all Owner rules:

    Smoking: Smoking is only allowed outside, and all butts will be gathered in the provide bins or fire pit

    Occupancy: At no time, shall any persons other than those noted in this contract be on the premises unless approved by the owner prior to check-in date.

    Quiet Enjoyment: Renter’s shall be entitled to quiet enjoyment of the cottage and are required to comply with local bylaws regarding quiet enjoyment. Any disturbances resulting in police action, neighborhood complaints or any violation of the rules and regulations is considered sufficient cause for immediate termination of your stay with all the monies paid forfeited.

    Furnishings: The cottage is furnished by the owner. The cottage is equipped for light housekeeping.  All paper goods, cleaning products are supplied by the owner.

    Use of Grills: There is a barbeque provided by the owner.  The barbeque must stay in the area provided by the owner.

    Locked Area: Renter’s may not be provided a key for the Owners personal storage spaces.  Any attempt to enter locked areas is cause for immediate termination of the agreement, forfeiture of all monies paid, and the Renter will be liable for any damage and/or missing items.

    Injury: The Owner shall not be held liable for any injuries / death that may occur to the Renters or their guests because of the acts of said Renters and guests.

    The Owner is not responsible for any theft or damage to Renters' belongings during their stay at the cottage.

    The owner in not responsible for any inconveniences that may occur for which he has no control.  This includes, but is not limited to power outages, adverse weather conditions, mandatory evacuation, construction, mechanical failure such as televisions, Wi-Fi outages... etc. No refunds will be given for occurrences beyond the owner’s control.

    Upon written or electronic endorsement, Renter’s agree that they have read and understood this agreement.

    The Renter accepts all terms, conditions, and restrictions without exception.

  • I have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions as set out above. I understand that the cottage Owner will not be liable whatsoever for any loss or any injury to myself or anyone else occuring on the property, using the cottage or any of the supplied furniture, games and amusements during my rental term, however caused.
