Performance Scholarship Recipient Responsibilities

Recipients of this scholarship must make a deposit via check of the Production Fee and Volunteer Deposit along with their casting agreement. These checks will be held onto until the end of the production, and only cashed if the outlined volunteer hours are not completed.

The Volunteer Deposit will be returned upon completing volunteer hours as outlined in the casting agreement.

The Production Fee will be returned upon completing 3 additional volunteer hours by helping during Move-out. Move-out must be completed by an adult.

The Advanced Role Fee will be returned upon completing one hour of assigned volunteer activities per $50 awarded. Volunteer activities may include, but are not limited to, Souviner Sales, Ushering, Studio Dress Rehearsal, Will-Call, or Move-In.

Move-out dates are as follows:

The Nutcracker - Sunday, December 14
Dance+ - Saturday, February 21
The Wizard of Oz - Sunday, May 10

If you cannot commit to helping with production move-out dates listed above, you are not eligible for this scholarship.

Please note: If you accept any additional subsidies or grants outside of a Northern Plains Dance Scholarship, you must apply for the difference between your grant amount and your full tuition amount. (Ex: If your total tuition per month is $400, and you are receiveing $100 per month in federal grants, your NPD Scholarship will be based on the remaining $300.)

Award letters will be sent via email. A Production Scholarship Agreement will be due along with the Casting Agreement.
