crossPORT is introducing a new technology that allows users like you to create a network using existing USB and Thunderbolt™ cables. The following is an example product that offers a 4-port network switch that permits the transfer of data between systems and storage appliances. We call this a USBSWITCH
About the same size as two mobile phones [one on top of the other], the USBSWITCH provides are 4 connection ports for plugging in a computer system (Laptop, Tablet, Desktop, phone or other) and directly transferring files at top speeds.

The device can also deliver power to any of the connected systems over the USB Type-C© or Thunderbolt© cable.
