ASCM CONNECT Annual Conference 2021
Virtual Rules and Regulations
In submitting this application and contract, the Exhibitor agrees to comply with all rules, restrictions and directives issued by ASCM in connection with ASCM CONNECT Annual Conference. This includes, but is not limited to, information contained in the Exhibitor Prospectus, Exhibitor Application and Contract, confirmation materials, and the Rules and Regulations outlined below.
Application and Contract for Exhibit Space:
This contract is for a virtual exhibit, the formal confirmation by APICS, Inc (currently known as the Association for Supply Chain Management) and/or its agents and Corcoran Expositions, Inc. acting as Management of the Exposition, referred to hereafter as “ASCM,” and payment in full of charges for the virtual exhibit constitute a contract for the right to use the same.
Eligibility to Exhibit:
ASCM reserves the right to exercise its sole discretion in acceptance or refusal of applications. ASCM reserves the right to make the final determination in the best interests of the event and may refuse exhibit opportunities to any exhibitor for any reason.
Virtual Exhibitor Etiquette:
Company sales representatives agree to act professionally in the virtual environment, the same way they would act at an in-person event. The
ASCM Membership Code of Conduct
applies to all participants including exhibitors at the virtual event. Examples of unprofessional behavior may include contacting attendees aggressively or too often, or attempting to conduct business or make sales presentations in public areas outside of the booth (for instance in a discussion forum, public video chat, or educational session). The ASCM reserves the right to deactivate the accounts of any sales professionals that the ASCM deems to be compromising the integrity or intent of any aspects of the virtual conference at any time.
ASCM does not endorse any programs, products or services and no endorsement of Exhibitor’s programs, products or services should be inferred. The views expressed in Exhibitor materials do not necessarily reflect the positions of ASCM.
Terms of Payment:
Full payment is required upon receipt of receiving invoice. All invoices must be paid prior to October 1, 2021, to participate in the virtual conference.
Cancellation of Space:
No refunds will be provided for virtual booths. Any request to change exhibit opportunities must be made in writing to ASCM at
In the event of any circumstances beyond the control of ASCM, including, but not limited to; acts of God, floods, fires, natural disaster, war, strike, or terrorism, or threat of war, strike, or terrorism, that render the holding of the Expo in the good faith opinion of ASCM to be impractical, impossible, or inadvisable, ASCM may, in its sole discretion, cancel the virtual conference and shall have no obligation to Exhibitor other than the return of the unused prorated portion of the virtual booth rental fee. Exhibitor releases ASCM from any and all claims for damages, which may arise in consequence thereof.
Indemnification and Insurance:
Each party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the other, its agents, and employees, from and against all claims, liabilities, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from acts, omissions, or breach of this Agreement by the party or its agents or employees. The parties shall each maintain appropriate and sufficient insurance to cover their obligations under this Agreement.
Social Activities or Sessions:
Exhibitor agrees to withhold other functions during official show activities, including exhibit hours, social functions, educational seminars and any other related activity scheduled by ASCM. Failure to abide by these rules will result in loss of space selection priority points. Continued infractions may result in an exhibitor being restricted from future meetings.
Any and all matters not specifically covered by the preceding rules and regulations shall be subject solely to the decision of ASCM. ASCM shall have full power to interpret, amend, and enforce these rules and regulations, provided exhibitors receive notice of any amendments when made. Each exhibitor and its employees agrees to abide by the foregoing rules and regulations and by any amendments or additions thereto in conformance with the proceeding sentence. Exhibitors or their representatives who fail to observe these conditions of contract or who, in the opinion of ASCM, conduct themselves unethically may immediately be dismissed from the ASCM Connect virtual event without refund or other appeal.
