Is a period given to a student to study and take licensure exams. Students that wish to take time off to study and take licensure exams must apply and be approved for a LERP. Without approval, the student will not be in good standing and, therefore, will not be certified by UHSA for licensure exams. A student that applies for LERP must submit proof of registering for a licensure exam within one month after the LERP period has been approved. Only two registration periods will be approved throughout a student’s four years of study and will never be approved in consequent terms. The maximum time allowed for each LERP is 4 months. It is the student’s responsibility to check with the finance office for loan eligibility and financial status.
Any payments made in accordance with this form submission shall, once they are paid, not be refundable nor creditable for any reason whatsoever.
