- Boarding is available 365 days a year, this includes all holidays.
- Over the Major Holidays* a minimum 2 (two) to 3 (three) night stay is required (varies per holiday).
- Due to high demand, during holiday periods boarding rates are increased.
- If your check-in or check-out date fall on a major holiday. We will have to revise your reservation dates.
Reservations:
- Reservations are required for all Boarding Pet Guests.
- Confirmed reservations must have the following:
- Proof of current vaccinations from your veterinarian along with a negative fecal – absolutely no guest, for any service, will be admitted without proof of current vaccinations.
Cancellations:
- Please note different policies depending on dates.
- Three (3) days prior to arrival for two-to-four-night stays.
- Seven (7) days prior to arrival for any stays over four nights.
- Cancellations must be made within the time frame listed above or your credit card on file will be charged in full and/ or loss of deposit for the confirmed services, unless otherwise noted.
Arrivals:
- Arrival time is between 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. by appointment only.
- Arrivals that require different times must be approved and may result in an additional charge.
- Please allow additional time to go over paperwork upon your arrival.
Departures:
- Check-out time for boarding guests is 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- All guests picked up after 12:00 p.m. (noon) will incur a nightly rate fee of $55.
- Payment is due at check-out

Vaccinations:
* A copy of current vaccinations from a veterinarian must be provided*
Dogs
- Rabies………….... 1 or 3 years

Cats

- FVRCPCH ………….….1 or 3 years
All puppies and kittens must be at least 4 months of age and have completed: Rabies, Bordetella and at least two DHLPP or DHPP.
All Pet Guests must be on a current internal parasite prevention or have a negative fecal test in the past 30 days prior to their arrival. Along with being current on flea and tick medication and or treatment.
Health:
- Pet guests must be in good health for the past 30 days prior to their arrival. Failure to notify staff of health issues may result in a cancelled service and cancellation charges.
- Pet guests must be on a current flea and tick preventative.
- All Pet Guests must be on a monthly internal parasite prevention or have a negative fecal in the past 30 days prior to their arrival.
Personal Belongings:
- You are welcome to provide 1-2 toys that are in good shape for your pet during their stay.
- Clearfield Veterinary Hospital provides all bedding and bowls.
- Clearfield Veterinary Hospital provides Hill’s Science Diet dry kibble if you prefer to keep your pet on their current diet it must be in an airtight container or be a new bag and only un-opened cans or pouches.
