You may cancel or reschedule your booking without any penalty if you do so within the required notice period, based on the length of your event:

Events up to 4 hours: Cancellation or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours before the event.

Events longer than 5 hours: Cancellation or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours before the event

Two interpreters are required for simultaneous interpretation when a community meeting is expected to last more than two hours. Simultaneous interpretation demands sustained, high‑level cognitive processing, and interpreter accuracy declines without regular rotation. Using a team of two ensures interpreters can alternate, prevent mental fatigue, and maintain consistent, uninterrupted communication for all participants.

For board meetings, city council meetings, candidate forums, and webinars, two interpreters are requiered regardless of meeting length. These settings typically involve rapid exchanges, technical language, and high public visibility, all of which necessitate team interpreting to preserve quality and reliability.

If you request interpretation devices for your event, please note that an additional $75 technical assistance fee will be applied when requesting more than 75 headsets.

We also ask that the provided lanyard be used and that all equipment be handled with care to avoid damage. If a device is lost or damaged, an additional $85 replacement fee will be charged.
