Liability: I acknowledge that dance is a physical activity bearing some risk of injury and I assume all said risk, harm, and loss. I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. Portland Swing Project and all of its instructors are released from all liability and held harmless in the event of any injury or personal property damage or loss.
COVID-19: In-person participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the released parties. Code of Conduct: Harassment of any type will not be tolerated. Event participants violating these rules may be expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organizers or the class instructors. I have read the Code of Conduct at https://www.portlandswingproject.com/covid-19-safety-and-code-of-conduct.html and agree to abide by it.
Aerials: I agree to refrain from performing or practicing aerials or air steps while attending classes, dances, or any other Portland Swing Project event. Air steps are defined as any move that extends a dancer's time in the air.
Photography: I grant to Portland Swing Project, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and video of me and my property in connection with swing dance classes and events. I authorize Portland Swing Project, its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that Portland Swing Project may use such photographs and video of me for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
