VEHICLE INFORMATION

-STUDENT MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE ONLINE EMERGENCY CONTACT FORM

-UPLOADED A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE (NO PERMITS)

-UPLOADED A CURRENT VEHICLE REGISTRATION

-UPLOADED YOUR PROOF OF INSURANCE

-YOU WILL BE CHARGED $25.00 FOR PARKING DECAL ON OSP. YOU MUST PAY FOR A DECAL BEFORE PARKING IN ANY STUDENT LOT

-UPLOADED A PHOTO OF YOUR VEHICLE

 

All students who register for a parking decal will receive a space if the demand does not surpass the supply. Should it be deemed necessary, a waiting list will be formulated for those students who are not allocated a space. At Miami Palmetto Senior High, parking is a privilege, not a right. Parking privileges may be revoked at any time during the school year should a student violate the following criteria:

·       Student must fulfill all financial obligations. (See the treasurer for a Financial Obligation Clearance slip.)

·       Student must maintain a “C” grade in conduct in every class.

·       Student must not receive any outdoor suspensions.

·       Student may not exceed 10 unexcused absences or tardies to either school or an individual class.

·       Student drives recklessly in the parking lot, damages the student lot, or parks in the staff lot.

 Rules and Regulations

1.    Decals must be affixed to the inside front windshield’s upper left-hand corner (drivers side).

2.    ALL student parking will be located in the designated student lots.

3.    Students must adhere to all traffic rules and regulations while on campus.

4.    Parking permits are non-transferable. Any sharing of decals will result in revocation of you decal.

5.    There is NO REFUND for lost, stolen, damaged, or revoked parking decals.

6.    Students may not return to the parking lot for any reason at any time during the school day without administrative approval.

7.    Students may not transport another student during school hours without administrative approval.

8.    Miami Palmetto Senior High assumes no liability for any theft or damage to vehicles.

9.    Failure to comply with rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action that may include loss of parking privilege and/or issuance of a citation by a police officer.
