Helpful Instructions/Comments for REAP International Bible College (RIBC) Administrators
Student Conduct and Academic Integrity
Check ALL BOXES to show that you have read and agree to abide by the terms listed below.
Course Requirements
*
I agree to read thoroughly all assigned information from the textbook and handout materials. I will complete all assignments, quizzes and examinations and turn in at the following class. I understand that ALL Course Assignments must be typed; double-spaced, using font size #12.
Assignment Dates
*
Assignments and exams for a class are due at the following month's class. Late assignments will receive an automatic 10 points deduction. Late homework cannot be faxed or emailed. Late homework must be hand delivered or mailed to our office.
Academic Honesty
*
The Word of God is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path and we are to confirm it by keeping His righteous ordinances (Psalms 119:105-106). It is assumed that academic honesty will prevail. REAP-TXUT affirms that the biblical principles of truth and honesty are essential. Indeed, the Bible contains numerous admonitions against false witness, dishonesty and cheating. Upholding the standard of academic integrity with its reliance on honesty is a responsibility of both faculty and students.
Dishonesty
*
Lack of integrity is exhibited through lying, cheating, defrauding or deceiving. To include: copying examination paper of another, allowing one's examination paper to be copied, reading without the instructor's consent a copy of the examination prior to the date it is given. submitting the same work product in more than one course without the express permission of the instructor(s), disclosing or accepting information if one takes a test at a different time than other students in the same course.
Plagiarism
*
Plagiarism involves stealing or using the ideas or writings of another, as one's own. It involves failure to acknowledge material copied from others or failure to acknowledge one's indebtedness to another for the gist of important thoughts in a formal statement, written or oral.
Grading/Professional Development
*
If during the semester, the instructor notes that a student is not progressing satisfactorily in any of the designated areas, a meeting will be arranged for the student and instructor to discuss specific needs for improvement.
Class Cancellations
*
In case of inclement weather check, a group email will be sent by 8:00am the morning of the class to the email address (you provided above) that we have on file.
Writing Standard
*
All student papers should be typed in Font #12 and double-spaced unless otherwise noted on the assignment sheet. All homework should include the cover sheet that is provided to you.
Return of Student Work
*
Students should expect their work to be evaluated and returned on a timely basis. Students should also retain copies of all original coursework submitted to the instructor(s). Students should pick up graded assignments and use them as study guides for exams.
Course Payment
*
Payments are accepted in the forms of Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover). Please keep a copy of all your payment receipts.
