  • SUGGESTIONS REGARDING REFEREES

We strongly encourage you to establish a fee schedule with a certified assignor in advance for the event.  Some tournament hosts may provide an additional bonus for 100% game coverage (meaning no last minute, unexpected cancellations, for example) or a deduction for failure to provide complete match coverage.

Here are some examples of what you might be asked to pay for a Center Referee, each Assistant Referee (lines) and a 4th Official.  The AR's and 4th Official are optional based on the level of play.

    Men's Semi Pro Level

    $100/65/65/50

    Women's Semi Pro, Men's Premier

    $90/55/55/45

    Women's Premier, Men's Open, Men's Over 30

    $70/40/40/35

Women's Open, Men's Over 40 and Up, Coed

    $45-60

    Small-sided (30 min halves)

    $30-40

Please note these are only examples and the nature of your event may warrant a different fee schedule, which will be based on various factors. You may also be asked to pay more for final rounds, and if a National or National Referee Candidate is used.

Assignors may ask for different amounts than those listed above, which is why it is important for you to work out these details in advance with the assignor.
