What this Means:
By signing below, you confirm your participation in the Light Baths artistic photography session. I retain full ownership and rights to all images and video created, which may be shared publicly, used in galleries, publications, licensing, and promotional materials. You retain rights to use images and video for personal sharing and professional portfolio use, but not for independent printing or commercial distribution.
Full Agreement:
I (the "Model"), for good and valuable consideration, hereby grant to Jarid Blumenthal (the "Artist"), his legal representatives, assignees, and those acting under his authority, permission to copyright, use, publish, reproduce, display, license, and distribute photographic portraits or pictures of the Model, including negatives, transparencies, prints, or digital files in still, single, multiple, moving, or video format, in whole or in part, including composite or derivative works, in any medium or reproductions thereof, in color or otherwise, for purposes directly related to the Artist's photographic and artistic practice.
The Model acknowledges that they do not have the right to examine or approve the finished product or specific uses of the images; however, the Artist agrees that the images shall not be intentionally used in a defamatory or misleading manner or in a way that implies endorsement of products or services unrelated to the Artist's work. In the event that any images involve partial nudity, the Artist agrees that such images will not be materially altered to increase explicitness, nor used in sexually explicit contexts.
The Model waives any ownership rights in connection with the images. Digital files are provided for personal viewing, sharing, and professional portfolio use only. The Model may not print, reproduce, sell, license, or otherwise commercially distribute the images to third parties without written permission from the Artist. Any commercial licensing of the images to third parties outside of gallery exhibition, editorial publication, fine art sale, or promotion of the Artist's own work shall require the Model's prior written consent.
The Model understands that no additional compensation or remuneration is owed for the permitted uses described above.
The Model releases the Artist and his affiliates, officers, agents, servants, or employees from claims associated with the normal and intended use of the images. This release does not apply in cases of willful misconduct, gross negligence, or unlawful activity.
If at any future time the Model reasonably requests removal of specific images from public display due to significant personal or professional circumstances, the Artist agrees to make good faith efforts to accommodate such request.
The Model represents that they are 18 years of age or older and have the legal right to contract in their own name.
