  • Format: (000) 000-0000.
  • Guidlines for submitting your story:

    1. No topic is off the table. Write about any situaion you have faced that directly affected your mental health. You may want to set it up as such:

    • Intro: who you are
    • Body: what was/is the struggle? (trauma, mental illness, addiction, loss of job, etc.)
    • Body: what did you do that helped you come out of it and recover? (what coping skills did you learn and utilize along the way).
    • Summary: how has this experience changed you/your life?
    • End: what do you plan to do in the future to avoid the mental health struggle?

    2. Please keep your story at 1000-1500 words.

    3. Be ready for an edit just in case (editing is done primarily to ensure the piece flows and is free of errors, not that you make any, right? Yeah, us either! Ha!)

  • From owner and CEO Michelle Wheeler:

Welcome to Doublesolid Apparel. We are honored that you are here and willing to share your mental health journey.

It is essential that you understand we are no strangers to what it's like to share such personal information. So please, take a moment to be sure you want us to publish the story and photos you provide.

We know this sounds all formal-like, but we stand for honesty, understanding, and transparency. We want everyone we partner with to feel 100% in support of our intention, mission, products, and business practice. We also know how much courage it takes to speak to anyone, let alone strangers, about the deeper, darker parts of being human. In doing so, at times, we may need to change our minds to serve ourselves best. That's OK. If you become anxious or unsure after submitting your story, let us know. We get it. Just email us, and we'll chat. Sharing our stories is to help us all; let's keep it that way with an open line of communication.

I am deeply grateful to have you on board!

    We got this.

    Rock on,

    Mo
