Trees Lake “Vamos a Pescar” Kids Fishing Event
Please join us for the 1st ever kids fishing event here in Deming. It is at our community's newly constructed Trees Lake.

This event will take place on Saturday July 17th and begin at 7:00 a.m. till 12:00 followed by lunch.

This will be a YOUTH ONLY free fishing day! Thanks to the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish for supporthing getting our youth outdoors! There will be display booths, demonstrations, prizes, and tons of fun activities for the kids.

This is a great opportunity for youth and families of Deming and Luna County to have an opportunity to get outside, explore and learn about conservation and outdoor recreation.

This year’s event will be sponsored by the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, The City of Deming, Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project, Hispanic Access Foundation, Friends of the Organ Mountain Desert Peaks, Latino Outdoors, HECHO, Mesilla Valley Fly Fisherers, Trout Unlimited New Mexico Council.
