When joining Looe Boat Owners Association (LBOA), members provided their personal data so they could be kept informed of events and activities that are offered as part of their membership. This information is also required to enable Looe Boat Watch to function correctly.
GDPR now requires us to have your specific consent to our use of your data and we have updated our consent list.
Please complete this form so we can continue to keep you informed and stay within the law. This particularly applies to members who joined before GDPR became law.
LBOA requires members to provide their personal data in order to:
- Keep up to date records of current membership
- Advise members of forthcoming events, activities, marine notices and any security issues relevant to boat owners.
- Advise local authorities of local boat and owner details should an emergency occur
- Enable members to keep in contact with other members
- Enable Looe Boat Watch to function correctly
- Publicise Looe Boat Owners Association
In collecting this information LBOA will:
- Store it securely
- Use it to communicate with you as an LBOA member
- Share this information with Devon & Cornwall Police only for Looe Boat Watch purposes
